WMD was kind enough to have posted a lot of pictures about the “rare” celestial event. It isn’t as rare as someone would think it is. In fact it’s not even an eclipse if I may correct WMD. A correct term would be “occultation” wherein the a heavenly body passover another heavenly body. In particular the Venus Occultation (Eclipse) happens when the moon passes over Venus.
It occurs several times a year. No rarity at that. But for a country like Philippines who hasn’t experienced a Venus Eclipse for nearly a decade now is certainly a buzz at such a simple event even to the point of implying that the ”heavens” is “blessing” Noynoy Aquino (Philstar: Rare celestial event augurs well for Aquino presidency) Aren’t we (mostly) Catholics to even believe such things? Irregardless of who the president is or who even dies doesn’t influence the cosmos to do what they’ve been doing. Be pretty lights in the sky.
The symbol of a crescent and star already belongs to a nation. Don’t plagiarize their symbols. A quick lesson on countries and the symbols on their flags.
See? The crescent moon and star isn’t a “rare” occurrence. It feels wrong to just link the phenomenon on one man. It’s better off linked with a woman.
Here’s another woman that is presumably linked with the “phenomenon” from walkedmydog.blogspot.com
Don’t you have better things to report such as…
- Proof of election fraud (with video)
- LP Treasure suspected with illegal funds; dies 10 days after in copter crash
- Major discrepancies in the reported number of Registered Voters
- and even Politicians addicted to Porn
But noooooo, the media is eerily silent, or reluctant to even talk about subjects above and concentrate on hanky panky astrology and how the moon symbolizes Noynoy’s scalp.
